Horror master Stephen King has seen the new " It " movie twice already and says he was "not prepared" for how good it really was, which is a scary good sign for horror-flick fans when the movie is released in theaters next week. King said he was actually surprised about just how good "It" really was, which isn't surprising considering that responses to King's adaptations have varied from positive think " The Shining " to negative think " The Dark Tower ". It's something that's different, and at the same time, it's something that audiences are gonna relate to. They're gonna like the characters. To me, it's all about character.

It retroactively known as It Chapter One is a American supernatural horror film based on Stephen King 's novel of the same name. A sequel, It Chapter Two , is scheduled to be released on September 6, In October , Bill Denbrough crafts a paper sailboat for Georgie, his six-year-old brother. Georgie sails the boat along the rainy streets of small town Derry, Maine , only to have it fall down a storm drain. As he attempts to retrieve it, Georgie sees a clown in the drain, who introduces himself as " Pennywise the Dancing Clown ". Pennywise entices Georgie to come closer, then bites his arm off and drags him into the sewer.

From cast to plot, release date and trailer info, here's everything you need to know about the cinematic version of Stephen King's killer clown flick. Creepy bastards, right? Warner Brothers originally wanted It to be adapted into a single film, but producer Dan Lin announced in that the monster book would be split into two releases, one following a group of children known as The Losers Club as they battled the titular creature in the s and the second returning to the group as adults as they return to finish It off. Tis the season to be a Stephen King fan as there have been countless adaptations of his best-known works in Netflix themselves have gotten in on the action too with two of their own movies releasing in the last two months. The novel has been among many fans favorite of the many books produced by Stephen King. It had already had a movie and a miniseries released but Warner Brothers decided to give Pennywise an updated look and it worked. As we stated earlier, with It being one of the biggest grossing films of that will automatically push up the price tag to any streaming service wanting to get their hands on the movie. Add to that Warner Brothers are the main distributors of the film and the outlook looks bleak, at least in the short term.
