Change the World MUN is an annual international meeting program attended by students from all over the world. It takes place in New York, the Emirates.the

From to she was Minister of Education, Universities and Research. Journalist, writer and academic. From to he was Managing Editor of the italian newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore, for which he is currently a columnist.
Associazione Diplomatici is an educational association made up of students, teachers, university lecturers, and young professionals. Since it has been fostering the participation of Italian students from middle to secondary schools and universities in Model United Nations. Founded in Catania in , it has enjoyed a wide expansion since then, with increases in offices not only in Italy, but in Spain, Brazil, Algeria, UK, and Germany as well. Change the World MUN , first edition, took place in NYC from the 29th of March to the 1st of April, and involved more than students from schools and universities around the world. The conference focused on issues stemming from human rights and renewable energy, topics that allowed students to discuss global problems, embrace a complex analysis of reality, force cross-cultural connections, and reinforce skills in problem solving.

I would like to thank associazione diplomatici for this eye opener conference and diplomatic experience. It helped me develop my leadership skills and taught me that, despite all the differences existing among people, solutions to problems can always be found! Over students every year fly to New York City to discuss current global issues where real Ambassadors work every day.
Since it fosters the participation of Italian students from middle to secondary schools, and universities in the Model United Nations MUN , the well known simulations of multilateral processes reproducing the action and works of the main United Nations organs. Founded in the year in Catania, firstly linked solely with the local University, today its presence is witnessing a massive growth, with centres all over the national territory. It also benefits from the patronage of renowned academic and scholastic institutions. NCCA for middle and high schools, as well as universities. Throughout the editions held in NYC from to Diplomatici Association received many awards assigned to the middle school, high school and university students: 1 best position paper award for the middle school project; 3 best delegation awards in General Assembly and in Security Council, 24 honorable mentions for the high school project; 1 best position paper award, a distinguished delegation award and a honorable mention for the university project and a special award received from National Collegiate Conference Association NCCA for the high level of qualification of the students participating to the MUN.
In addition, a journalist from United Nations radio, Stephanie Coutrix, met students prior to the conference to explain the role of media at the UN. Our 18 students in Y9 and Y10 represented the school proudly alongside other high school and college students. A total of high schools sent delegations from 14 countries to attend the conference held at the UN General Assembly Hall and in the Grand Hyatt Hotel. They studied issues such as urbanization and development, women and development, technology in the Arab Spring, and security in space. Javier E.
